Welcome to UNICART
T
he conference is a great opportunity for all specialists, academics, students and professionals, as well as for institutions that deal directly or indirectly with the issues mentioned. High-level works are welcome that describe constructive, empirical, experimental or theoretical concepts that have not yet been published previously. Presentations may include tables, graphics or photographs that serve to illustrate or support the artifacts.
War events, migrations, pandemics, climate change are reshaping the scenarios, and the Mediterranean basin is once again a key player of the destinies of humanity.
UNICART aims to explore the phenomena generated by people who move within it or who return to the places they had left, through this international scientific conference.
Humanity on the move generates economic flows, cultural interchanges, impact on food production, tourism and business.
In our 8th UNICART Conference, we intend to analyze all these aspects, but this time starting from afar, from the history of the Mediterranean and its peoples. The Mediterranean has been the scene of clashes and exchanges, of heroes and scoundrels, of poets, mathematicians and artists. Let’s start right from the heroes and scoundrels. Let’s start with the Knights and the Corsairs to understand the evolution of the peoples and economies that still live here (in the Mediterranean) today
